Research Highlights from 2020 with Lise Alschuler, ND, FABNO & Tina Kaczor, ND, FABNO

The lecture will review select clinical data published in the past year with import to the day-to-day practice of naturopathic oncology. The presenters will summarize a study, a review of studies or will provide a synopsis of studies on the same subject. The review will include a description of the study and its findings. The authors will then provide commentary on the studies in terms of application to clinical practice, study limitations and future implications.   Any studies that are novel or seminal in shifting paradigms in oncology or within naturopathic medicine will be emphasized.

Learning Objectives

  • Gain familiarity with key areas of research in the practice of naturopathic oncology.

  • Gain insight into the strength of evidence supporting specific etiologic and management aspects of naturopathic oncology practice.

  • Learn about cutting-edge research on topics applicable to naturopathic oncology.

  • Develop a resource of data to support or negate the use of specific naturopathic therapies in the context of cancer care.
